Sallyanne Austin
is a Nantucket Native and graduated from Nantucket High School. She graduated Contintenal Academie of Hair
Design in Hudson, NH, and holds a certificate in Salon Management, as well as a license in Cosmetology in
2 States. Sallyanne has worked in Boston and Cape Cod, and has been an educator at the Cape Cod Technical
School in Harwich, Mass. She has owned and operated the salon since 1999. In 2011 she developed her
own nail polish line, Nantucket Nail Polish, which is now
available at the Organic Hair Salon & Nail Spa,
and also at Stephanie's Nantucket, 42 Main Street, Nantucket,
and Island Variety on Old South Road. You can order online at http://www.nantucketnailpolish.com. The salon has been featured twice in NAILS magazine, a popular nationwide trade magazine for the salon
industry.
